This is the only Martin Luther with Oberammergau tour that has a Prague pre extension available!
From Frankfurt to Berlin you will appreciate the ones who taught us
our theology that we live by. While in Germany we will attend
the Oberammergau Passion Play! In 1633, in the quaint
Bavarian town of Oberammergau, gripped by war, poverty and
plague, the villagers of Oberammergau vowed to put on a
‘passion play’ every ten years if their village was spared. They
survived, and performed the very first Oberammergau Passion
Play in 1634. Ever since, their descendants have carried out this
pledge, giving you the opportunity to attend this unique
experience in 2020
We have added a Pre-Extension in Prague where we focus on
Jan Hus, the Czech Reformer who preceded Martin Luther by a
century. We will have a panoramic tour of this beautiful city,
including the Bethlehem Chapel, the Castle of Prague, and the
old medieval area. On our way to Berlin we will also have the
chance to visit the wonderful baroque city of Dresden.
