My Trip to The Holy Land Review

My trip to The Holy Land Update!

November 28 – December 9, 2016

I travel to the Middle East a couple of times a year and not only to Israel, but to Egypt, Greece, Italy, Jordan and more. I get the SAFETY questions all the time and I am happy to report that Israel is as safe as it has ever been. Talking to my friends that live in Israel, they feel the political situation is stable and the people of Israel are looking forward to a peaceful 2017 and beyond.

I had the privilege to be a part of some great groups traveling through The Holy Land in November 2016. I am usually on our Fixed and Co Hosted groups traveling the beginning of November, but this year I wanted to also join some of our Hosted Tours in addition to the MTI Fixed Tour.

Bet Shean (PHOTO BOMB)

I had the opportunity to hang out with a few of the Maranatha Tours groups while in Israel: I found the Pastor Ri-Wong group at Bet Shean and thought this was a great opportunity for a Photo Bomb!

Upper Galilee

Then in Korazim, I bumped into the Esther Espinoza and Pastor Rey Gonzalez Group! I had to pull them away for another Photo Op! (Great Pic Right)

Caesarea By The Sea

On the way to Jerusalem we stopped at Caesarea by the Sea and bumped into the Maranatha Tours Fixed departure group with Roman doing his thing. If you have a small group or just want to join a tour in Israel, you can join any of our MTI Monthly Co Hosted or Fixed Departures. This is a great way to tour Israel or anywhere through the Bible.

Another Group Photo added to my collection

Of course a trip to The Holy Land just isn’t complete without a group photo! Pastor Gilley’s Group.

Old City for Lunch (YES)

Yes we had ½ a bus full of young adults and after they waded through Hezekiah’s Tunnel,  I took them to my favorite spot in the Old City for some of the Best Falafel and Veggie Pizza in Jerusalem! Standing Ovation is all I have to say!

Bethlehem

Singing Christmas Carols in a Shepherd’s Cave with the Pastor Gilley Group was another highlight for his group. Next time add this and ask for candles… we will get them for you!

Jericho

On our way through Jericho, we stopped and got some of the sweetest bananas on earth for the Gilley Group. If you haven’t had a Jericho banana you haven’t lived!

Pastor Morris Group

Leaving Israel and walking to the bus and who do I bump into…Pastor Billy Wayne Morris! His group was just starting and it took a call from my wife to get me on the plane and not tour The Holy Land again!

We have groups traveling monthly and as you can see by the pictures from November 28 – December 9, 2016, this is truly an amazing and life changing trip. Make 2017 the year you make your first (or 100th) journey to The Holy Land with Maranatha Tours and walk where Jesus walked.

Sincerely,
