CIRQUE DU SOLEIL RETURNS TO ISRAEL SPECTACULAR AWARD WINNING PRODUCTION QUIDAM MENORA ARENA (YAD ELIYAHU) – TEL AVIV

JULY 2ND – 16TH, 2015:

After the premier performance of Alegria in Israel in 2012 which attracted over 100,000 visitors, the internationally-renowned Cirque du Soleil will return to Israel with its acclaimed production, Quidam, from July 2nd – 16th 2015. Quidam, which combines spectacular acrobatics with enchanting visuals, has already been seen by over 10 million people around the world and is expected to attract tourists, visitors and Israelis alike.

Quidam features 52 world class acrobats and actors as well as musicians and singers within a fantasy setting, accompanied by a symphony of lights and its very own soundtrack. From contortionists suspended high above the stage, to acrobatics performed by troupes of artists, and synchronized movements, with juggling and aerial hoops, the audience is drawn into a world of fantasy.

From a group of 20 street performers at its beginnings in 1984, Cirque du Soleil is now a major Quebec-based organization providing high-quality artistic entertainment. The company has 5,000 employees, including more than 1,300 performing artists from almost 50 different countries.  Since 1984, Cirque du Soleil has been seen by over 110 million spectators in more than 300 cities in over forty countries on six continents.
