Best Practices To Help Avoid Getting Sick
Here at Maranatha Tours we consider all of our passengers apart of our family. This situation is, at times, changing hourly. It is important we are all educated on the best ways to help avoid getting sick and preventing others from getting sick. That is why we put together a guide with some quick tips and resources that helped educate our staff here in the office to share with all of you.
Wash your hands regularly
While washing your hands should be washing for 20 seconds so let’s pray while we wash.
A Great
way to wash and say the Lord’s prayer Matthew 6:9 - 13
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen
To disinfect:
Most common EPA-registered household disinfectants will work. Use disinfectants appropriate for the surface.
Options include:
- Diluting your household bleach.
To make a bleach solution, mix:
- 5 tablespoons (1/3rd cup) bleach per gallon of water
OR - 4 teaspoons bleach per quart of water
Follow manufacturer’s instructions for application and proper ventilation. Check to ensure the product is not past its expiration date. Never mix household bleach with ammonia or any other cleanser. Unexpired household bleach will be effective against coronaviruses when properly diluted.
- Alcohol solutions.
Ensure solution has at least 70% alcohol.
Also avoid close contact with others especially if you know they are or have been sick.
If you think you may be ill it is recommend you stay home unless you are seeing a doctor. If you do wear a mask or again avoid any unneeded contact with others.
