We will go to the Tent Restaurant located in the Shepherd’s Valley Village – Beit Sahour – on the way between the Shepherd’s Fields and the Nativity Church. Upon arrival, you will immediately be enchanted by the sight of the palm trees, olive orchards, and native plants surrounding the Tent Restaurant, you will also get to put on a Keffiyeh the traditional Middle Eastern headdress.
You’ll also enjoy the delicious scents emanating from thier kitchen as you settle down to relax at the low tables and couches spread with Bedouin style tapestries and begin your gastronomic journey in an authentic, family friendly atmosphere.
An enticing menu includes hot and cold meze, tabbouleh and fattoush salads, makdous (baby eggplants pickled with walnuts, garlic and spice), Hummus, spicy sausages, grills, chicken, kebab & more.
In step with the traditional hospitality that they offer, you’ll be promptly attended to by their attentive wait staff, eager to show thier honored guests what Middle Eastern hospitality is all about. You might even see a Shepard and his flock roaming around the restaurant!
After dinner we will have time to walk out and over look Bethlehem under the stars, just like the Shepards would have 2000 years ago!
