A Family That Prays Together National Day Of Prayer

This year's National Day of Prayer takes on new meaning with the pandemic that has swept the world. Our Maranatha Tours family is not only praying for our President, but also all of our Governors, Mayors, and City Leaders as they make difficult decisions to lead us through this time.

We pray for all of our church leaders as they help counsel their congregations through this time.

We pray for all health care and front line workers as they care for all those affected.

We pray for our business owners that are working to support their employees, and still provide services and necessities.

As we all take a moment today to pray, please remember to pray for our brothers and sisters that are a part of the Maranatha Tours Family all over the world that have all been affected.  We are all children of God!

Here are a few Bible Verses to Reflect on for the 2020 National Day of Prayer

Heal me, O Lord, And I will be Healed, Save me And I will be saved: for you are the one I praise. ~ Jeremiah 17:14

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groaning too deep for words.~ Romans 8:26

Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. “This, then, is how you should pray:

“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
~ Matthew 6:8-13

Then Jesus told His disciples...that they should always pray and not give up. ~ Luke 18:1

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.~ Philippians 4:6-7

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-4

Thank you for being a part of the Maranatha Tours Family!
